Summer

sitting pool side all day long, eating watermelon,
wet swim suits hanging on the towel bar in the bathroom, homemade ice cream, picnicking with family and friends, linen, jimmy buffett on the play list,
blt's with fresh tomatoes, playing outside bare-foot,
wearing sun dresses, snacking on cucumbers soaked in vinegar, red geraniums by the front door, popsicles, MY BIRTHDAY, fireworks, grilling at least once a week, VBS, smelling sunscreen,
meals of home grown veggies, seersucker,
having the "summer glow" on my skin, splash parks,
toddler tan lines,painted toenails, fireflies
